Those of us who love our craft, whether it be sewing, quilting, crocheting, or knitting, usually have difficulty finding time to work it into our busy lives. Now here’s an opportunity! Not only will you be able to do what you love, you can learn new skills, share with others, and donate to a worthy cause! This is our way of reaching out into the Community and blessing others. If you love to create, please join us! Everyone is welcome, and please feel free to bring along friends and family as well!
We’ll be gathering every month to create items for different organization such as Wheeler Mission, Life Centers and Riverview Cancer Center. We will also have ‘bonus’ projects for schools and other organizations as the need presents itself.
This is our new Mission Statement: The purpose of Hand Crafting for Christ is to share the love of Christ by making quality hand crafted projects to share with others. We provide fellowship, devotionals and the teaching of craft classes so we can spread our talents to others.
Our Crafting Workshop:
Currently we are on a break. If you would like to be informed when we re-start our Crafting Workshops please leave a message.
Bring your projects to work on, including all your necessary supplies and equipment, and please bring your lunch! We will start with a short devotional, share with each other, teach and learn new skills, fellowship together, get to know each other, and have fun! We look forward to crafting with you!
What Project do You want to Work On?
We offer lessons in sewing/quilting and crochet/knitting every month! Please remember that regardless of the ‘lessons’ at a particular Workshop, please do come and work on any project you would like! Come be a part of the social time, we want you there to enjoy the fellowship! So, you may work on the lessons, or any other project you would like. See the Current Projects and Patterns pages to see all of the Projects! We have several that are ongoing, and you’re welcome to work on any of them.
If you need help, please don’t hesitate to ask! We’re here to support you, and to help you create! If there’s something that you want to learn, please ask, we want to teach you! For each new project, you’ll find a list of what you need to bring, and written instructions for projects will be available.
