What: baby blankets

When: for the baby dedication, which occurs twice a year, in the Spring and Fall

How many: approx 15 for each time

Details: baby blankets need to be light to medium weight, they can be square or rectangular, recommended sizes for newborns are: 32″x36″ to 36″x44″; they can be knit, crochet, or made of fabric: cotton, flannel, fleece; quilted or tied

Notes: For knit or crochet, use Caron Simply Soft (acrylic yarn), soft baby yarn, or other yarn that is soft and comfy.
When using fleece, use only one layer, two layers would be too heavy.
