If you were trying to find the “Patterns for Fleece Hats & Scarves”, I’m sorry, it isn’t there…    I changed the name so I could also include knit and crochet items!   You will find it on the Patterns page!   Please send me links to good knit and crochet patterns, and I will post the links!   Sorry for any inconvenience!

Hello Everyone!
A busy morning, but great!  We learned a lot, got new projects & patterns, got to visit and have fun!  The page for Fleece Hats & Scarves is up, plus the page for Cancer Hats!  Take a look!  I will try to get the patterns I got from Debbie transferred to a PDF, and add them in the next several days.

I would love to add more knit and crochet patterns and links, but I really don’t know how to tell a good knit/crochet pattern from a bad one.  (I haven’t crocheted in 20+ years, and I’ve never knitted!)  If anyone finds a good website for either knit or crochet, send me the link, and I’ll be happy to post it on the website to share with everyone!

If anyone has any more totes or pillowcases, please drop them off in the HD Creative tote behind the Welcome desk!

Hello Everyone!
This is such an awesome group!  Our plan of ‘getting a head start’ on pillowcases was fabulous!  Not only did we get a head start, but once everyone finishes the pillowcases they’re working on, we will have over 120!!   There is a clear plastic tote behind the welcome desk for you to bring in your completed totes, pillowcases, blankets, scarves, hats, etc.

So since the pillowcases are pretty much done, in September we will have a new project.  I’ll let you know soon what it will be.

We still could use more totes. There are some with decorative top-stitching, applique, lots of flowery fabrics, etc.  I love the assortment!   Please don’t be shy with decorating them to make them unique.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the lovely pillowcases.  They are beautiful and will be deeply appreciated by the women and children living here at the center.  Each pillowcase is so unique that I am sure whoever is lucky enough to use them feel special too.

Hello Everyone!
We had a great time on Saturday!  There was a nice group there, we shared stories, worked together, learned something new, and overall, it was great!  I hope you can join us next month on February 9th from 9:30 to 2:00 for another great time!  Our new project is baby hats & blankets for Life Center, and we will also be working on baby blankets for the Children’s Ministry here at Hazel Dell.  We will be working on these through March, in order to give everyone plenty of time.  Patterns and links will be posted on the website in the next several days for the sewing items.
